Lodz Botanical Garden
The Lodz Botanical Garden, one of the largest parks and gardens in Poland, offers 67 hectares of diverse plant landscapes. It consists of nine thematic sections, including a Japanese garden, an alpine garden, an arboretum, a medicinal and industrial plants section, and an open-air museum with traditional rural plants. The garden is home to more than 3,400 species of ground plants and 2,000 greenhouse plants, and features 18 water bodies and 12 artificial hills.
It is a great place to relax and get in touch with nature, especially in spring, when magnolias, cherry trees and tulips bloom, and in summer, when plant exhibitions and various cultural events are held. The garden is also a venue for workshops, lectures and concerts throughout the year.
